
Olympic golf gold medalist Nelly Korda and McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris have joined hands as the faces of Icons Tested, a new campaign by TUMI that highlights the discipline behind elite performance.

Currently World No. 2, Korda has long been regarded as one of the most dominant players on the LPGA Tour. Having won the Olympic gold in women’s golf in the 2020 Summer Olympics, she has been world number one multiple times and continues to set the standard in women’s golf today. Her calm demeanour under pressure has earned her major titles, as well as a reputation for being one of the sport’s most consistent performers.
Meanwhile, 5-time Grand Prix winner Lando Norris counts himself among F1’s brightest rising stars. Since breaking into the sport as a teenager, he has become McLaren’s leading driver, scoring podiums and establishing himself as one of the grid’s most exciting and popular talents. His breakthrough first F1 podium at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix marked him as one to watch, and his home race win at the Silverstone Grand Prix had the crowd on its feet. Today, Norris represents the new wave of F1 competitors pushing the sport forward.
The Icons Tested films follow Korda on the practice range and Norris in his preparations on and off the track, capturing the focus and repetition that fuel their success. Photographer Simon Lipman and director Kiku Ohe captured the pair.
“Being iconic isn’t defined by perfection. It’s about staying committed and finding meaning in the moments that build over time,” said Korda.
Norris added, “Consistency is everything. The work never really stops, no matter the craft. I see it in how I perform on the track, and in how my essentials keep up with me, wherever I go.”
Central to the campaign are two of TUMI’s best-known designs. In the film, Korda carries the Voyageur Celina Backpack in black and gold, and Norris is shown with the Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack in the new navy coated canvas. Other highlighted products include the TUMI | McLaren capsule in Super Grey, the ultra-light 19 Degree Lite hardside case, the 19 Degree Aluminium range, and the foldaway Just In Case collection.
