Andy Murray admitted Jack Draper act is 'sign of weakness' as tennis star shares anger issue

Jack Draper has confessed to “waking up angry” following his on-court meltdown at the Italian Open. The rising British star, who is still adjusting to his newfound fame, might do well to take a leaf out of his idol Andy Murray’s book.

The Scottish tennis legend once admitted that such fiery displays on court are a sign of “weakness”. A highly-strung Draper showcased his volatile temperament after smashing his racket in frustration during his fierce match in Rome on Sunday.

The world No. 5 had already taken a comfortable lead over Vit Kopriva, but after missing several break points, he repeatedly threw his racket to the ground, even earning a code violation for his actions.
