Andy Murray's list of four tennis stars he'd like to coach next – including Emma Raducanu

Andy Murray has already declared which other tennis stars he would like to coach after splitting from Novak Djokovic. Murray, who retired from playing last summer, was surprisingly hired by the 24-time Grand Slam winner six months ago.

However, with the French Open and Wimbledon looming, the tennis greats have parted company. Believed to be a mutual decision, Djokovic has endured a difficult first part of the season, including losing his first match at his last two tournaments, and has decided it is time for a change.

The 37-year-old said: “Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun and support over last six months on and off the court, really enjoyed deepening our friendship together.”
Murray reciprocated, saying: “Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together and to his team for all their hard work over the past six months. I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season.”

It means Murray is once again available for coaching roles. Given his reputation, he is expected to be in high demand. The Scot has previously disclosed the players he would most like to work with.

Speaking in 2022, he said: “Female player would be Emma [Raducanu] and male players would be between [Carlos] Alcaraz, [Stefanos] Tsitsipas and Jack Draper.”
