Former two-time Grand Slam semifinalist CoCo Vandeweghe thinks Emma Raducanu feeling very comfortable around Mark Petchey is one of the key reasons behind the British tennis player’s decision to add the 54-year-old to her team.
Five years ago, the 22-year-old spent some time working with Petchey. And after being left without a coach in March, the 2021 US Open champion turned to a familiar face to assist her at the Miami Open – she ended up making her maiden WTA 1000 quarterfinal.
