Coming from a family of elite athletes—father Petr Korda, a 1998 Australian Open tennis champion; mother Regina Rajchrtová, a former professional tennis player; sister Jessica, a six-time LPGA winner; and brother Sebastian, a rising ATP star—Nelly turned professional in 2016 after a dominant junior career.
Her breakthrough came quickly: a win on the Symetra Tour in 2016 earned her an LPGA card.
