David Beckham impersonator banked £1million from looks and ex even looked like Victoria
Andy Harmer made almost £1 million as the lookalike of David Beckham.

An ex-car-wash attendant who made seven figures for simply looking like David Beckham almost lost the lot through alcohol.
Spurs fan Andy Harmer was never quite able to cut the mustard on the same level as the Manchester United and England legend, peaking at Eastbourne United, who currently play in the ninth tier of English football. However, the 46-year-old confessed that he could have trounced Becks in a drinking competition.
While Beckham is set to celebrate his 50th birthday on Friday, Harmer says that he feels lucky just to be alive after years of drinking through his work as a lookalike. As per the Mirror, he said: “A year ago, I had a heart attack and had to be resuscitated nine times and was fitted with a stent.

“I’d actually given up drinking eight months before, but I’m sure my heart attack was down to my rock and roll lifestyle. I was a mix between David Beckham and George Best, and I could easily drink three bottles of wine a night.”
The West Sussex native was working as a car wash attendant at 18 when he started receiving comments on his likeness to England legend Beckham. Soon after, he signed up for a lookalike agency and started raking in as much as £75k each year over the course of two decades.
