Victoria Beckham Revives The “Pob” Haircut 9 Years Later

Every move Victoria Beckham makes is scrutinised. From her sartorial choices to her haircuts to her beauty launches (including those brilliant brushes), the fashion designer and former pop star is pretty much always under the microscope. So, whenever Mrs Beckham switches things up, it isn’t long before the world catches on. Just look at her recent decision to revert to one of her signature hairstyles from her early years in the spotlight: the Pob. An abbreviation of “Posh bob”, the style was synonymous with Beckham until recently, when she began to wear her hair long and effortlessly mussed. Now, though, she’s reverted to type, sharing a photo on Instagram with a fresh new chop for summer.

Chic and summery, her Pob is gently waved with choppy ends and lands just below her chin. It’s very similar to a bob style Beckham last wore in 2016. This time, though, there’s a delicate balayage effect, transitioning from acorn-brown at the roots to a toffee-toned blonde at the ends.
