Victoria Beckham torn apart on GB News after David knighthood bombshell ‘Not fair!’

Following the report that David Beckham has been awarded a knighthood, guests on GB News gave a brutal swipe at his wife Victoria Beckham. During Friday’s live channel, Cressida Wetton, Josh Howie, and Steve Allen discussed what the news could mean for her. David is set to be knighted in King Charles’ Birthday Honours List. The former England football captain, 50, was awarded an OBE in 2003 and is now receiving further recognition for his football career and contributions to British society. The BBC reported that David was first nominated for a knighthood in 2011, and Beckham played a pivotal role in the London 2012 Olympics, whilst also being an ambassador for UNICEF and the King’s Foundation.

On GB News, Josh Howie questioned the title of Lady Beckham being given to Victoria. He said, “Wait, wait, wait. She gets to be a Lady? That’s not fair. Why does the partner also get the Lady-Lord-whatever-it-is? I don’t think it should come through her marriage.”

He was interrupted when Steve said, “What has he done to deserve a knighthood?” to which Josh joked, “What are you talking about? Look how handsome he is. He’s got hair!”

The tattooed ex-England captain had been rubbing shoulders with royalty last month at the Chelsea Flower Show, with King Charles recently congratulating David on his 50th birthday milestone.
